Service/Short Order Technician.

Garrett started out in the security industry in 2000 working on large jobs as a foreman for a large electrical company in Minneapolis. Since then,he began working for an alarm company installing and maintaining security and fire alarm systems, access control systems, intercoms, and camera surveillance systems. He joined Security Control Systems, Inc. in October of 2010 where he is currently a Journeyman Technician. Garrett is a State of Minnesota licensed PLT, and FOA fiber optic certified technician.

Project Coordinator:
Jason Merrifield, New Systems Installation Coordinator.

Jason Merrifield has been in the security industry since 2003 when he started work for Security Control Systems, Inc. installing security and fire alarm systems, access control systems, intercoms, and camera surveillance systems. Jason is a State of Minnesota licensed PLT and carries a Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair Certificate

Sales/Consulting:
Andy Kramer, CPP, PSP, CET, Vice President

Andrew Kramer has been in the security and fire alarm industry since 1988. First as a salesperson for another company and for the last eleven years as partner in Security Control Systems, Inc. He has a bachelor's degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Management. He is certified through ASIS International as a CPP, and PSP. Jim Smith, PSP, President

James Smith has been in the security systems integration business since 1977. He entered the industry as a service technician for a national company and became regional service manager that covered 14 states. He started a company in 1980 that limited the sales and service area to a smaller geographical area around the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. In 1997, he became partner in Security Control Systems, Inc. He has an associate's degree in Electronics as well as being active in ASIS and is board certified by ASIS International as Physical Security Professional (PSP).
